SEO Article Submission

So you have a website.  You worked on it for a long time and it looks real nice.  Now you are ready to do business on the Internet!  Only one thing is missing...  Traffic!

A Website is next to worthless without traffic.  Without any traffic for your website, nobody will ever see your message.  You might as well just put the site on your home computer behind a firewall if you don't get any traffic to your website.

Ok, so how do you get traffic to your website?  From the search engines, that's how.  Google.com, MSN.com and yahoo.com.  There are a few others as well, but this is the source of most of the traffic found on the Internet.

And how do you get traffic from the search engines?  You have to get your webpages listed in the top results for phrases people would use to find your website.  To do that, your best bet is to get as many inbound links from other websites as possible.

And one of the very best ways to get inbound links from other websites is by publishing articles just like this one.  Simply write an article about your website topic and put your website link in the article.  Then proof read your text and submit it to your favorite Article Submission Website.

There are many ways to submit your article and many websites to submit it too.  In this article we will look at the websites you can submit your articles to.  The goal is to get your article posted on quality websites with a high PageRank.

So here is how you should go after this...  See the top ranked sites with a PageRank of seven?  There is only two of them and they are very important.  Then the PageRank six websites are next.  And don't discount the PageRank five websites either.

Start at the top and work your way down.  If you have a PageRank of zero, then go for everything in the list.  If your website has a PageRank of three or four, skip the zero and one PageRank Article Submission Websites.

Be sure to work your website keywords into the article so the search engines have something to work with.  For example, notice how I have the term "SEO Article Submission" through out the article.  It is important to repeat your keyword phrase a few times and spread it around.  In other words, put your keyword in the first paragraph, the last paragraph and through out the rest of the text.  Don't over do it, Four to six times for a short article.  Repeat your keywords more often for longer articles.

Here is a short list of SEO Article Submission Websites.  For a much larger list and information on how to automate the process of submission, visit this website;

Advantages of Fax Broadcasting

Fax broadcasting has several benefits. And with an increasing amount of providers appearing in the industry coupled with new breakthroughs in the technology used - more and more businesses are using the fax to communicate their marketing message

Some of the major plus points about fax broadcasting are –

Potentially Huge Savings for Your Business
Once a company out-sources fax distribution, it can save lot of revenue as now it doesn’t need to waste money in buying paper or stationary to print or envelopes to address, or boxes to carry to the post office (the bare minimum pre-requisites for traditional mails).

The business can also do away with the labor traditionally needed for a mass mailing.

The business doesn’t need to invest huge sums in buying high quality fax machines; instead they can pass on the work to broadcasters who own such high value machines.

With a severe competition amongst fax broadcasting/blasting vendors, companies can at times get send fax for a fee as low as 20 cents per fax. And perhaps much, much lower if you look around.

Improved Fax Quality
As most of the fax machines are capable of receiving and printing readable faxes at 200 dpi, the quality of the fax transmission is largely determined by the sending machine. The vendors who provide services in this area can easily afford such expensive high resolution machines. Thus your fax blast comes through to the receiver in good quality.

The vendors specializing in broadcasting and blasting can help the businesses to broadcast the documents any time of the day (or night). They can also be scheduled days, weeks, or months in advance.

There are vendors who can personalize the documents for each transmission by merging an unlimited number of fields of data onto each document transmission as they fax it out. Thus your messages can be personalized.

Immediate Sales Increase
Fax broadcasting gets results as the message gets noticed instantly, especially if it is broadcasted at the right time of the day when people are most receptive. Schedules can be maintained to broadcast it at the right moment.

Most of the vendors maintain mailing lists of people who are related to a particular business and seeking information from these fax broadcasters helps you in targeting the right audience.

A List Of The Document Types that can be broadcasted:

- Press releases and newsletters
- Product and pricing Updates
- Trade Shows and Event Reminders
- Special Promotions
- Invitations
- Daily Price Lists and Rate Sheets
- Direct Marketing
- Investor Relations Information
- Communication with customer base
- Offsite Emergency Communication
- Inventory information
- Account status
- Interoffice bulletins
- Delivery forms

Reliable Delivery
One can easily track the delivery of each fax online and can know about the ones that bounced back or weren’t delivered.

A customized confirmation can be sent back to the organization about each fax which was successfully delivered and also the reason why certain faxes were not able to reach their destination.

Vendors normally retry each fax up to 3 times if the recipient number was busy.

The turnaround response is quite less and this saves a lot of valuable effort and time.
Archive logs can be maintained to record every incoming and outgoing fax.

Fax blasting/broadcasting is an excellent method for marketing your business. There are many advantages in terms of cost and time savings. The best part is that it is very easy to try and assess for your business.

Advantages of a Multilingual Website

You are a business owner and your have your website in English. It does pretty well and your online business goes pretty smoothly. You are satisfied with results, but you really want to grow your company and expand it internationally. Yet, your website is still in English. Why? Why not to change it?

This article tries to explain advantages that multilingual websites have over conventional single language.

First of all, English is not a predominant language in the Internet any more. As the Internet grows, the more people from developing countries such as China, India, Russia and Brazil gain steady access to the web. They browse websites, look up for information, and, of course, make purchases, lots of purchases! They prefer to browse websites in their own language such as Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Japanese, Korean, Russian, Hindi and so on. Variety of languages is huge. If you can deliver your website in all of those languages. This means you will be able to sell much more to those new customers. There are plenty of ways to receive online payments to US bank accounts from foreign countries, and, therefore, merchants’ opportunities for sales are big. Great buying audience is a first advantage of having a website in several major languages.

Second of all, if your website is translated to many languages, it receives not just many new orders, but it enjoys a bigger flow of traffic. Your website will receive more visitors per day, per week, per month. This is also great. If you know how to put this traffic to work, then you will probably use AdSense ads more efficiently and will receive more CTR and will increase overall dollar amount per day. More traffic means more clicks. Similarly, more clicks means more AdSense revenue. This is a second advantage of a multilingual website.

Third of all, Multilanguage website brings credibility to a company. Since professional language services are not cheap, having a website professionally translated to many languages brings respect to its owners. I am not talking about a cheap free machine translation of a website. I am talking about a professional human approach to translation when each sentence is conveyed to the foreign language correctly, when each image or button is translated well. All errors may hurt reputation of a company. Poorly done, machine translation may erode a company’s reputation completely. But thorough human approach to translation of a website may help to avoid such pitfalls and problems. Thus, credibility that can be established by a website that is translated to many major languages. Multilingual website brings credibility and respect to its owners. This is the third advantage of having a website translated to foreign languages.

Contemporary Internet shifts toward globalization. This word has strongly gotten to our vocabulary. There are new people coming to the web each day. Internet grows and matures. New laws are being implemented and old ones get challenged. English is no longer a number one language on the web and it will never be. English is even challenged here domestically in the United States of America where it gets a lot of competition from Spanish, Chinese and Russian. The future language will become a mix of languages and having your website translated to most of them will secure your small business in the long run and will ensures its steady source of income. Website translation is not an expense, it is an investment, probably the most cost-efficient you will ever make.

AdSense Tips For Bloggers

If you have joined the blogging revolution that is sweeping the net, and you think you might want to make a little revenue – or a lot of revenue – from your blogging efforts, you need AdSense tips for bloggers. Blogging has opened up an entirely new way of how non-technical people interact with the Internet, and now, anyone can publish anything about any topic – without having a website – and anyone can profit without even having a product!

Adsense for blogs make perfect sense. Google’s advertising programs are designed to work with sites related to the keywords for the ads that are being presented. Each time you add content to your blog, the Google spiders gobble it up.  The more you update, the more the Google spider visits your page.  Ultimately, you move up in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) for the topics that you write about.  You see where this is going.  The higher your search ranking, the more traffic you receive, which ultimately leads to higher revenue from AdSense ads.

The beauty of blogs is their potential for rapid growth.  If you become known as an expert in your area of expertise, word of mouth spreads quickly and your blog can become very popular.  So it is vital that you always teach something with every blog entry.  You want your readers to come back frequently and they will if they know they will learn something.  Not only will your readers bookmark your blog and return often, but they will link to your blog enthusiastically as well.  People in forums will refer to your blogs and discuss what they learned.  Websites will link to you as a valuable resource.  In short, an <i>informative</i> blog can grow very quickly if the information it provides is valuable.

It is important to write about specific topics, and sprinkle your blog entries with specific keywords to get the best results – and the highest revenue – with your Google AdSense ads. There is a method to the madness. Start your revenue generating blog by testing the waters.

Decide what area you would like to write about and then do some keyword research.  Research is easy if you use Google’s keyword tools found at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordSandbox .  The keyword tools are located in your Google AdWords account. Yes, you need a free AdWords account to be successful but you don’t have to fund it to use the keyword tools. Look for keywords related to your subject that are high paying. These are keywords where the bid amounts are high. Make a list of the top paying keywords, and use that list to determine what topics you will write about.

Remember, you want people to visit your blog time and time again, and build up a readership, make sure that your blog is well written and informative. Don’t just target keywords for the sake of targeting keywords – the writing needs to make sense! Writing valuable content is the first step to generating traffic to your blog, and traffic is needed to profit from AdSense ads!

You are allowed to use the AdSense ad units in two different places on each page. You can accomplish this in a couple of different ways. First, you can add the AdSense ad code to the template for your blog. This is done through the control panel for your blog, and some knowledge of HTML is needed. The other option is to paste the AdSense code directly in your blog post each time you submit a new post. You can use it once at the top and once at the bottom, or once after a few paragraphs of the post, and again after a few more paragraphs.

Get that code in there however you see fit – but then pay close attention to the results so you can see what is working and what isn’t. Tracking is everything if you want to make real money!

Of course, you need to advertise your blog as much as possible as well. Make sure that you provide Trackbacks to other people’s blogs as often as possible, and that you visit blogs, leave comments – and leave a link for your blog as well!

AdSense Hints & Advice Revised

Most people have tried and failed to make money at AdSense, however they found it is not quite as easy as people made out. A lot of people fail to get anywhere near the Click Thru Rate they need or the keywords they have chosen are generating poor earnings. Here are a few tips on hopefully helping you improve and hopefully make some decent money.

Hint #1 Try and make use of all the ads available, obviously you don't want to make your website look like one long advert but if you have enough content you can place your adverts around the page and it will look ok.

Hint #2: Make your Ads look like the page.
Everyone surfing the web is expecting adverts on pages, in fact they will be shocked if there aren't any. Google AdSense lets you change the colours of your adverts the common consensus amongst the experts is to make the ads blend with your website as much as possible. But others think it is better to make them stand out. So try different combinations and see which works best for your site.

Hint #3: Make sure your page has the correct ads.
A lot of sites are not targeted enough so AdSense puts a wide range of different adverts on the page. Do some research into keywords and try and make each page concentrate on a keyword or phrase. If your page is content rich and has ample keywords the adverts will mirror the page content and you are more likely to get clicks from your visitors. At the end of the day they have come across your site looking for those keywords the odds are good they will leave looking for the same keywords.

Hint #4 Make your site presentable
It is pointless having a content rich site with great keywords if it looks like a child made it. If you are no good at web design try a freelancer they do jobs very cheap now. Try not to have popups we all hate them so why try and subject your potential customers to them.

Make AdSense work for you.

Adsense - How To Make a Living On It

"Our AdSense Templates Will Make Your Thousands Of Dollars With No Effort!"

"Use Our Software To Make Hundreds of Content Pages and Make A Fortune!"

"I Make Millions and Millions With AdSense and I Can Show You How for Only $147!"

It seems like there are lots of new AdSense tools and e-book promising you to make a fortune. Each claims that they are the easiest way to make money with AdSense within days and with little or no effort.

These promises are all Very Tempting. So you decided to buy what they are selling, along with other people. But in the end the only person getting rich is the guy you are buying these products from. And do you know why...

"You've Been Lied To!"

Thinking aloud....Do you think that you could have a pre-made template that makes you money when a thousand other people are also using it? How can a software program that spits out hundreds of pages of auto generated content make you money? How can a simple e-book take you from zero profit to a million within days and without much effort?

No! You can't. So why are these people still selling these dream products? To get rich from innocent people trying to find a way to start their own online business, of course!

I strongly believed that when people are given the right resources, tools and trained with the right techniques, as well as some hard work put into it, he could easily start a profitable Adsense business.

What I am going to share with you are some of the little known facts, as well as those tried and proven techniques to increase your revenue significantly through the use of Adsense.

It's True...Setting up AdSense sites is not rocket science. But you need to do it the right way and what you need is for someone to show you how.

I have listed some of the quick tips about earning incomes through Adsense. Basically, you will need to :

Blend your ads and appeared as part of your web content. You could easily achieve that through the use of the background, border and text color.

Use multiple ad units. According to Google's TOS you are allowed to post up to three ad units per page.

Place the advertisements wisely. Don't inundate your visitors with advertising, but make them prominent enough to be noticeable. You will also need to position the ads with the highest CTR, as high as possible in the page. Normally, the first ads that appear in the pages (in the source's order) get the most income per click.

Determine your web site's focus; consider how much the advertisers pay for the advertisements. In other word, you need to know what those high paying keywords are, and customize your website in order to get high paying ads.

Add Value to All You Do

While reading some very informative material recently, I found myself inspired by a concept that enables a person to soar to higher heights.  The concept of adding value to everything you do, when applied to specific areas of a person's life, can bring that person to be highly sought after by those receiving the added value.  The material I was reading focused on business and what this concept will do for the success of a business.  Another way of looking at this concept is in the idea of doing more than is expected, or doing more than that which you are compensated to do.  When doing this a person will be "weighed" against others who do not.  In comparison, the person who adds value to all he/she does will be sought after to the degree that there will be keen competition for his/her service.  As a person becomes more and more recognized for doing more than he/she is compensated to do, he/she will begin receiving more and more compensation for their services.

There is an additional benefit that comes to the person who exercises this concept in his/her business; the development of that person's strength.  In nature, do you suppose the strongest trees are those that are protected from the storms and hidden from the sun?  This isn't the case.  The one that stands out in the open and bears all of the winds and rain and is shone upon by the blistering sun is the tree that develops the strength to withstand  the most violent weather.  This also is the case for the person who goes beyond expectation to deliver added value in everything he/she does.  This is the person that becomes strong enough to succeed despite the adversities that one is sure to come up against in his/her business.  The fact that most people are delivering as little as they can get by with, serves as a great advantage to you when you deliver added value.  One who delivers as little as he/she can, may rest assured he/she will receive the same.

I hope this information will add value to all of your experiences.
Joe Clinton.

The importance of internet marketing is continuing to expand.  Surveys of all kinds show a major shift in traditional marketing budgets to dollars being spent online to market all types of products and services.

Internet marketing is the use of the Internet to advertise and sell products and services. Within the definition of Internet Marketing you will find mention of pay per click advertising, banner ads, e-mail marketing, search engine marketing (including search engine optimization), blog marketing, and article marketing.  Each of these subject areas is important to consider prior to planning your internet marketing strategy.

Internet Marketing Tactics.
As the Internet has expanded, so have the opportunities for marketing online.  Here we will take a brief look at each type of Internet marketing and explain the benefits of each.

1.    Pay-per-click Advertising.  Sites like Google offer pay-per-click advertising for anyone interested in getting their message in front of the right segment or prospective buyer.  This method is highly targeted and offers one of the best and most popular forms of internet marketing.  Marketers using pay-per-click advertising only pay a fee, based on the competitiveness of a keyword or ad title, when a link is clicked on.

2.    Banner Ads.  Once the king of Internet marketing, online banner ads have evolved to include animated and flash banners, but the premise remains largely the same.  Marketers purchase a specified number of impressions to run on a single site or network of sites and are generally not guaranteed a specific number of clicks.

3.    Email Marketing.  Effective among current clients and prospects who have requested information form your company, email marketing is a well established means to communicate and marketing your products.  However, be aware of CAN-SPAM requirements and contact preferences of those you plan to reach.

4.    Search Engine Marketing.  If you want web browsers to visit your site, than focusing on search engine optimization and search engine marketing is a must.  No Internet marketing plan is complete without ensuring that your site is submitted and included on major directories like Google, Yahoo!, and DMOZ.  The dollars spent on Search Engine Marketing of any type will pay huge dividends.

5.    Blog Marketing.  Getting mention of your site or information related to your products can quickly scale if you are able to effectively tap into the countless blogs that are being created everyday.  It is essential that you focus your efforts on blogs covering topics relevant to your product or service offering.

6.    Article Marketing.  One of the most important aspects of Internet Marketing, is to improve the link popularity to your site and improve the awareness of your product or service offering.  To do so, many companies are focusing on publishing valuable content and making available for other to post to their website’s.

Regardless of the Internet marketing tactics you choose, be sure to consider an integrated marketing strategy.  Be sure that your internet marketing has a specific goal and is supported with a definitive plan and budget.  Lastly, be sure to pick up a book, conduct some research, or work with professionals to enhance your Internet marketing know-how.

Ad Tracking Increases Your Profits

How do you know whether your advertising is effective or not? The answer is to track advertising response for each ad you run.

Whether you operate a retail store, a service business, a mail order operation, or an Internet marketing business, you can measure the effectiveness of your advertising.

1. Which Publications Produce Profits?

When new customers phone or visit you, ask how they found out about you. They might say they found you through your yellow pages ad or your newspaper ad.

Record the responses and resulting sales from each ad. Then, analyze whether each particular advertisement is producing the desired results.

If an advertisement consistently produces profits for you, keep running it. On the other hand, if an ad consistently performs poorly or produces a loss, discontinue it.

In mail order, you can key each ad so that you can measure the resulting sales from each publication.

For example, you could add "Dept. A" to your name or address in the ad to indicate the July issue of a particular magazine. Key it as "Dept. B" for the August issue of the same magazine. "Dept. C" could indicate the July issue of a different magazine you advertise in.

Thus, as orders come in, you can track the response and sales made from each advertisement. From that information, you can easily determine the profitability of your ad in each publication.

2. Which Ads Produce Profits?

Not only can ad tracking show you which publications are profiitable to advertise in, but it will also help you measure the effectiveness of the ads themselves.

If you change your ad, and the results for the new ad are consistently better or worse, you can take the appropriate action; either continue or discontinue the advertisement.

Change only one element in an ad at a time.

For example, if you decide to change the price, don't change the headline. Otherwise, you won't know if the difference in results was due to the changed price or the changed headline. For greater certainty, change only one thing at a time when testing your ads.

On the Internet, you can use tracking software and services that will aid you to determine the source of your sales and the effectiveness of your advertising, article writing, and other activities.

So, whether you operate a retail store, a service business, a mail order operation, or an Internet marketing business, use ad tracking for increased profits.

Ad Flyer Tips

You have a book sale next week or a new product to introduce. But with a limited budget you cannot decide what marketing strategy to use. You need not worry anymore because you can get the news out quickly by creating flyers. Flyers are among the easiest to produce, least expensive and effective marketing materials today. You can hand them out, mail them or leave them in a bulletin board or any place where your target customers hang out most.

So let’s say you have decided to create flyers to promote your book sale. How can you possible make them interesting and catchy?

Choose the right colors. Colors play a big part in flyer printing. The colors that you will use can send different feelings to your prospects. It can influence them in deciding whether to go to your book sale or not. Simply put it can make or break your sale.

Use images or photographs. Images have been effective in attracting the attention of prospects. You can use photos of yourself or any image that suits your purpose. This can create name recognition and a feeling of trust to your prospects. Likewise, it can express ideas and feelings that words can’t.

Be simple. Create designs that are simple. Do not use different typefaces to reduce visual confusion and to be able to effectively communicate your message. Keep in mind that good flyers don’t have to be complicated. Oftentimes, a simple design is far able to make a sale than those flyers with bold, complex designs.

Create a good headline. Understand that your flyer is not a business card. You need not make your business name as your headline. Instead, create a headline that speaks of your products and services. Present your prospects with headlines that address their needs – a headline they can’t ignore. So instead of using Larry’s Bookstore try using Get best-selling novels of celebrated authors for half the price you would pay elsewhere or Great book selection at affordable prices.

Don’t leave the backside empty. The printing expense in flyer advertising is just a small part in the overall expense. It is in the distribution that most expense comes in, both in terms of time and money. That is why if you are going to distribute flyers you might as well consider handing out a two-sided flyer for a better chance of making a sale.

So remember, making an effective flyer can cost you only a couple of dollars compared to the money that it can make for you. So make an effort to make your flyer a successful marketing tool.

Action Figures: Antiques for the Common Man

Given enough time, one boy’s toy is an antique collector’s prized possession.  Strange as that may sound, there are many collectors who would love to see an original G.I. Joe or an original Star Wars action figure.  Remember He-Man?  Action figures tend to be based on shows, movies, or comics that always have a following, and therefore even years after companies stop producing the figures, there are individuals who still seek to collect them.  There are many a man who think of all the G.I. Joes they blew up with fireworks, only to find out twenty years later how many hundreds or even thousands of dollars their collection would have been worth if it remained in mint condition!

One interesting story dealing with action figures involves Takara, a Japanese toy company.  They are best known to modern toy collectors as the company that built the original Transformers action figures.  In 1974 Takara created a 4-inch humanoid action figure, which was called "MicroMan."  In the late 70's and early 80's this toy was brought over to the United States by the Mego Toy company, which was desperate for a hit after they made the famous blunder of passing on Star Wars.  They re-named the line "Micronauts", and created enough of a back story for Marvel Comics to get a good run of comics.  Mego got several years of good sales, which was about the same size as Star Wars figures, before the whole company went down.

The basic construction of the Micronauts action figure would soon be utilized by Hasbro for their new action figures: the now famous and very collectible 3-3/4" G.I. Joes (an action figure famous amongst young boys of the time for their propensity to have bad run-ins with fireworks).  In recent years, the Micronauts concept has enjoyed somewhat of a resurgence.  There has been a decently successful series of comic books, a trilogy of paperback novels, and a toy company called Palisades managed to re-create many of the original Micronauts molds.  Now the original company is coming out with larger action figures based on the originals.  Like many classics, companies want to keep dipping back for more.  Why mess with success?  Still it’s the old action figures that gain the most attention from collectors, so if you’re thinking about putting out the old toys from twenty years ago out in the garage sale, maybe think twice and take a second look before putting the boxes out.  Who knows what you might find?

A Walk in the Clouds of Multi-functional Posters

As you walk by a bookstore façade, you can see a lot of things. Some are worthy of your stare but some are worthy of your time. Between the two, dwell on the latter. They can make you better.

Look around. Does it have your most wanted books? Does it have your favorite novelist?s paperbacks? Does it have catchy and priceless posters? Isn?t it beautiful to stare and reckon how these precious things build foundation, character and wisdom? Yes, these things have somehow contributed to your becoming YOU.

Let's take posters as an example. When I was still a baby (as supported by the photos taken), I am surrounded by playful, informative and colorful. These posters include the alphabet, cartoons, numbers, animals and the likes. My mom's habit of having them around continues until I became a teen. From then, I noticed that I have adopted the same scheme. I keep on placing posters to continue being updated, to keep me reminded and to be inspired and entertained. Those reminders and fact have been made part and parcel of who I am today. You may take for granted materials like posters but they do have a large-scale impact to all of us.

Posters have many faces. And that faces can yield different emotions. It can make you laugh with grace. It can turn your laugh into tears. Or pinch your heart in sorrow. It can make you sigh in relief or grimace in dismay. It can inspire you to do something hard and unusual. Nevertheless, it can calm your shattered mind and soul.

Poster is everywhere. And in every piece of it is a multi-functional mentor. They are not just a piece of crap hanging around your room. In fact, they are so priceless that they can move people to action. In connection to the marketing world, poster is one of the effective marketing tools for movies, events, products and services. With a short span of time, posters can make a great percentage of populace informed and updated. That?s how powerful poster can be. It can drive just anybody to watch a show, make a purchase or subscribe to a service.

Moreover, poster printing must be quality and free from any flaw. To ensure this, poster manufacturers must choose expert and reliable printers. The outcome of your masterpieces depends on the printers. The choice is critical. Thus, be cautious in choosing...

A Successful List Means Profit Increase

It is a tough world out there, especially in the world of cyberspace. The internet has brought with it many technological innovations, yet with it came along an influx of websites. The opportunities to make money online are there, but the competition is tough. The best option for survival is to have a solid relationship with your subscribers.

Internet marketing is obviously different than offline marketing. In order for your website to stand a chance against all the million websites that are out there you need to know how to generate traffic. This may sound like an impossible mission but the answer clearly lies in opt-in list building.

It is understandable that most first time visitors on your website will not make a purchase. That is why you have to be willing to give them something that will make them want to fill in their email address. This in fact is the concept of an opt-in mailing list.

Many marketers have come to understand that a well built opt-in list is the key to profit margin increase. Clearly that is why so many people are using their freebies to increase their opt-in list. The key concept is that the more people that sign up for your free stuff, the more able you are to reach like minded people. It is a time tested marketing strategy that has great impact.

Opt-in list building is about getting your internet business the publicity it needs. It is clear that the word free does in fact allow people to let go of their precious email address. Therefore you do not have to opt for the illegal warped version of opt-list building - SPAM. List building is indeed a wonderful and perfectly legal way of website promotion.

An opt-in list is the evidently the most powerful tool that you can posses in order to make your internet marketing a serious success. It gives you the opportunity to make your subscribers aware of what your product can do for them without actually saying so.

Internet marketing through opt in list building is about building a relationship with your subscribers. You need to understand what it is that your subscriber wants and you have to be willing to part some of that information along.

This way you can give your subscribers what they want while at the same time wetting their appetites to what you have to offer. A more effective relationship is thereby built this way and your profits will start seeing their way to the sky.

A Simple Thank You is Money for You

As a business grows, sometimes business owners tend to forget the most important part of their business – the customers. The danger with this is that the business can become just another faceless unit that customers deal with. Remember that acquiring customers is difficult especially if people just buy from you once. This is why people who are already old in the business industry will tell you that it is better to spend money on advertisements to keep old customers than keep on beating around the bush to gain new customers.

To really keep your customers, you need to spend a day or two every month to make courtesy calls and thank your existing customers. If you really don’t have any real business to do with your customers a simple hello will be nice. Your customers will be pleased that you took the time just to check in.

Thanking your customers is often a neglected gesture yet a very powerful sales tool. There are several instances where in a simple thank you to your customers will be very much appreciated.

First, when they make a purchase a simple thank you will be well appreciated. When was the last time a store clerk thanked you for buying from their store? Do you remember the last time a retailer thanked you for shopping at their store? This simple thank you could mean a lot of things for the customers.

Second, when they contact you regarding a service issue. Some companies think - why would they thank a customer for complaining? What they don’t realize is that when people express their concern they are giving you an opportunity to improve your business.

Third, when they refer you to other potential customers. Some businesses generate customers through referrals. If for instance you always neglect to thank the person who has been referring you to others, they might stop sending potential clients to you. And this could be a big loss for your business.

Fourth, loyal customers also deserve a thank you. It is critical to thank long term clients. But some take these individuals for granted. Keep in mind that they like anyone else, also wants to feel appreciated. Thus, sending a regular thank you card or note will be enough.

There are countless ways to say thank you. You can send an email, write a note or card or even thank them in person. An inexpensive card with handwritten comments can help you stand out from your competition. Remember that globalization and the internet means your customers can choose from thousands to stores at the touch of a button. Thus, staying ahead of the competition is important. Yes, creating thank you cards can take some time but the payoff is usually worth it.

A Right Media Mix Can Make the Difference

Branding is no longer simply about visual appeal (or the cherry in the apple pie example, as given in my earlier article). Unfortunately, many graphic design firms who position themselves as advertising agencies believe that branding your corporate identity is all about developing great looking visual solutions.

However, there is much much more to branding than just looking good. Particularly in this web 2.0 era, where a powerful web presence has become a vital ingredient of your branding strategy, developing the right media mix holds the key to building a powerful brand equity.

<b>In other words, a right media mix would mean: </b>

•    Creative design solutions (the design, color, and content of your ads, marketing collateral and website enhance your brand equity, attract customers, and generate sales)

•    Web development (every product/service worth its name has a web presence these days, some have truly interactive, animated sites encouraging customer involvement),

•    Viral marketing (vitally important in today’s age of social networking, tagging, podcasting, blogs, forums, wikis and what have you)

•    Television commercial production, print media advertising (traditional media cannot be overlooked)

•    Strategic films (have become necessary elements of roadshows, exibhitions and other promotional campaigns)

•    Corporate video production (a very important tool for branding your corporate identity)

•    Direct marketing (marketing collaterals need to be just as effective and resonant with the overall branding scheme as the communicate directly with the customer)

•    Outdoor advertising (hoardings, roadshows, participations in business fairs, exhibitions, etc)

There are some interactive advertising agencies that have recognized the need of the hour - developing creative design solutions that employ user-centric investigation and involve critical and systematic thinking. User-centric means understanding of needs and priorities of end user; the clients' customers, their channel partners, users, and brand communities.

So if you want to register your brand as one that is synonymous with customer loyalty, you must develop a complete package, keeping the customer as the prime objective and organizing product stories around the way they prefer to learn about, compare, select and confirm purchases, connecting brands and their experiences.

However, there is much more to branding than just looking good. Particularly in this web 2.0 eras, where a powerful web presence has become a vital ingredient of your branding strategy, developing the right media mix holds the key to building powerful brand equity.

A Reality Check On Your Marketing Strategy

The 'Marketing Strategy' is the way we have come up with for achieving our marketing goals and it should include two mandatory elements:

- Which target consumers whom we can reach, hold a viable potential to buy whatever we intend to sell?

- What is the offer (the entire marketing mix) we will be presenting to these consumers in order to appeal to them and thus realize the said potential, given their alternatives?

You must not think of these as two separate questions but rather as two parts of the same idea. Let me clarify. What are "target consumers with a potential to buy"? These are consumers (a sizeable enough group with buying power) likely to desire what you are offering. Why would they want it? That is the potential that you are supposed to identify. There may be several reasons. For example, maybe they are not consumers of your kind of product yet, however, they might be if something happens, or if they are exposed to a certain message. It could be that they have special needs or preferences, which up until today were not catered to by any of your competitors' offers (and don't forget that psychological, social, aesthetic needs are real needs). Maybe they are bored with what they routinely buy. When you identify such a situation, you know that the potential is there.

Identifying potential is only the initial stage of your mission, of course. Your strategy would also have to include something that you are going to offer these consumers that might improve their situation in a certain way, solve a problem, give them more than what they already get for the same price, or open new opportunities for them. In short, something that will motivate them to buy from you and thus materialize the potential.

The 'Marketing Scenario' is a synopsis of the logic of your marketing strategy. In the same breath, it also enables you to make sure that that logic really works. The 'Marketing Scenario' translates the 'Marketing Strategy' to simple everyday language. How will it happen in reality? How will the materialization of marketing goals occur? I don't know whether or not you have already sunk in this fact, but marketing goals are achieved through customer acts. So, let's assume that we install a webcam with enhanced psychological insight capabilities inside the market and that it captures the materialization of our marketing plan, one purchase after another.

What is the 'Marketing Scenario'?

The 'Marketing Scenario' is an amazingly simple tool to use: Only four questions. Are you jotting this down?

1. Who are the people who we believe have the potential of buying what we intend to sell? Yes, these are the same people we so often refer to as the 'Target Consumers'. First, we must define our targets. What do these people have in common that makes them probable prospects (in the sense that they are likely to be particularly interested in our offer)? We could use demographic, socioeconomic, psychographic, as well as lifestyle descriptions. Note that at times, we target not a specific group but a wide almost indefinable group of people in a specific mood, a specific situation, or a specific need or state.
Make room for another possibility. You can target not a defined group of consumers but rather a state of need/desire or a consumption context shared by many diverse consumers at one time or another.

2. What precisely should they be doing (that they are not doing already and will probably not do if we will not intervene), that would direct them to eventually choose our brand specifically? It is, by the way, the first and only objective of branding. What do they have to do so that your marketing plan will materialize (even before the actual purchase)? Do they have to go somewhere? To call? To agree to meet your salesperson? To stop and pick out your product from the shelf? Which activity, which does not occur today, would lead them in the correct path on the way to buying?

3. What is the sound reason that should motivate them to change their behavioral inertia? How will they benefit from that change? Why would you, in their place, buy what you are offering? You can think of it as your differentiating factor (what makes you differentially better?), or as your competitive advantage (what makes you comparatively better?), according to your preference. What could make their situation better compared to their current standing and to the other options available to them in the market?

4. How exactly will they extract the benefit (that which answers question 3) according to your marketing plan? That is not a repeat question. Notice that the third question dealt with the 'why' of the target consumer's planned motivation, and now, we are trying to understand the 'how' of your marketing plan. How are you planning to provide the benefit defined in the answer to question 3? If, for instance, you said before that you are making something more accessible, easy or comfortable for them, now explain how it will become more accessible, easy or comfortable, due to you product.

Let us look at an example: The introduction of Palm Pilot to the market. O.K.? Just the main points:

1. "Residents" of the business community, gadgets fans, who manage a dynamic, constantly changing schedule, and have not yet embraced the electronic organizers, or were disappointed by them because of their being laborious to update and generally unreliable.
2. ... will step into the nearest office equipment store and ask about the Palm Pilot.
3. ... because at last there is an organizer which is not only sophisticated, small and wonderfully shaped, but is also easily kept up to date and  preserves the stored data when damaged or when upgrading to a new model
4. ... because the Palm Pilot can 'converse' with the PC, making the updating process a simple task to perform, as well as enabling creation of backups which could be easily transferred on to the next generations of organizers.

That is what the 'Marketing Scenario' is all about. All you have to do is answer the questions. Be precise. Be thorough. Be honest. Do it in writing. Even if you're absolutely sure that the answers are positively clear to you and there's nothing to be gained. Only when your 'Marketing Scenario' is totally translated to a written text, should you go on and proceed with the brand development process. Otherwise, you will get trapped along the way, and don't say I didn't warn you.

A product, service or program to sell

There are a lot of ways to make money from a home business. Many of the entrepreneurs have first been working for an employer to obtain the necessary skills into a home based business. However there are also people that make an impulsive decision and start a home based business on advice by someone, were attracted to an advertisement or are pushed that way for their current financial situation. You can make money online but as said in my previous article you need to develop a plan or system to benefit from an online business.

If you are starting an online business then you have many opportunities. Although don’t think yourself rich. It may be possible that your business is lifting off immediately but in most cases it needs hard work. I started out online by filling out surveys, reading emails and clicking on advertisements. This was not paying a lot. You need hundreds of sites to earn a couple of hundred pounds. You start earning if you refer other people to do the same as you do. At that time I was introduced to network marketing and learnt a system.
If you want to benefit online you’ll have to learn a system and afterwards implement a system that will work for you. If you start an online business in network marketing then you have to build up trust. The only way you can gain trust on the internet is to advertise yourself and stand firmly behind the product that you want to market.

Although we recognize the fact that some people starting in network marketing didn’t receive any support, I certainly would like to succeed in this business and if I don’t get the information I want then I ask for it.
If you join a network program, and you don’t ask a thing or don’t introduce yourself to a sponsor then there is no willpower to succeed in this business. A network marketing system is designed to work for you as well as for your sponsor. If you have a good upline than they are very willing to introduce you to possibilities to get you going. Your upline is benefitting from the work you put in.

When you have established a network then you can also think of selling affiliate programs or affiliate advertising (on your website). These affiliate programs will pay you a commission on click throughs and/or sales generated from your site. Think about Yahoo, Google, Clickbank or Amazon.
Once you are convinced that you have mastered the right opportunity, then it is time to do business.

It is from significant importance not only to choose a product or service to sell but also to target your market. Who are your customers?

For a business that is service oriented a industry market is clear. A plumber will most probably target private home owners than people who rent or in the other case deliver its services to a council or building society.

For an online business it is extremely important who your customers are and whom to target.

Keep this in mind when you are stepping into the online businesses. There are programs out there that promise you the world. If you don't feel good about the product or services than stay away from it rather then trying things out and see what is going to happen.

Every business will try to find or create other products in time to target other prospects. Profits of your business always need to increase.
Starting out online doesn't mean you have to sign-up for every program that is out there. If you follow this strategy you'll end up broke or you fail to establish your company in about two years.

Lots of people make the mistake to sell more programs at one time because they feel one program isn't earning them enough. If you have a good product then the revenue will come and after that it is time to expand your product line with another.

After you have figured out what your target market is you need to figure out why would this product be valuable for my target prospects.
You definitely can't say: my product is so good that everyone wants to have it because it isn't working. A DIYer will not buy a hammer if he needs to drill a hole. A person will not buy a car because he just has money to spent.

If you have the perfect drill and a DIYer needs to drill a hole then you are able to sell him your product. If a person is looking to buy a car because he needs it to commute then you can sell a car.

So it is wise to understand what the reasons are for your prospects to buy your products and to implement a strategy to sell your product.

A Look at the Marketing Potential of Booklet Printing

Need to advertise your products? Want to communicate your latest services? Businesses often look for ways to advertise their product in the most inexpensive means. Booklet printing is one of the answers to the high cost of brochure printing. Full color booklets are great for pamphlets, product booklets, annual reports, sales catalogs and consumer catalogs among others.

There is no doubt that color adds life to any printed material. It enhances its appearance, thus, making it an effective means of communication. A well chosen color for your booklet can mean the difference between a stirring material and a lousy piece of paper. Remember that your goal is to attract as many customers as possible and the right choice of color can help you do the job. Every time a customer takes hold of your booklet, it brings profit to your business and at the same time promotes your product to a larger audience.

Experts have said that full color increases name recognition and readership compared to black and white prints. The four colors namely cyan, magenta, yellow and black used in color printing creates many color shades that produce attractive print outs. When you use full color printing you may be able to achieve color consistency. The computer controlled inking and chemical mixing technique maintains consistent quality making full color printing the choice of most businesses. Keep in mind though that the more inks you use, the more expensive it is. So before you get a print job done, it is always a good idea to talk to your printer first. They can help you decide how many colors and which one to use in your print job to accomplish your goals.

Color printing can be very inexpensive especially if you use a standard weigh and color paper. Most printers today also have machines that can produce print jobs at faster turnaround time and lower prices. Remember also that the more you print, the lower the cost. So consider bulk buying if you need a lot of copies of your booklets to reduce the printing cost.

Nonetheless, the possibilities that your booklet can give your business are endless. Thus, designing it effectively can help boost your business and increase cash inflows. Whatever your choice of colors and design, with careful planning you will be able to make the most out of your budget.

A Look At One Creator Of Sports Logos

The members of every sports team wear an embroidered logo somewhere on their sports gear. That embroidered logo is a symbol of pride. The makers of those logos are equally proud of their creations.

Who makes those embroidered logos? Does each city with a professional team have its own set of embroidery experts? If one were to look at the logo for the Philadelphia Phillies, one would get that impression. Their logo contains a liberty bell. It looks like a logo designed by a present-day Betsy Ross.

Yet “Ross” was not the last name of the family that did the embroidery for that logo. That family had a different last name. Their name was “Moritz.”

Before the depression, the Moritz family had a business focused on the making of embroidered lace. Then during the depression, Carl Moritz, the founder of the company, and two of his sons changed the nature of the company’s efforts. They got the employees to start doing the embroidery for the emblems put on sports uniforms.

At the time of its founding, 1885, the Moritz’ company was located on Vine Street in Philadelphia. In 1970 the company moved to northern Philadelphia. In 1986 the Moritz’ company moved much further north. It moved to the Pocono Mountains in northeastern Pennsylvania.

The Moritz family has been an important part of the embroidery industry for five generations. Carl Moritz, Jr., the grandson of the company’s founder, took time off during World War II to serve in the Marine Corps. After three years of service (1943-1946) he got an honorable discharge, and then he returned to Philadelphia to help with the family business.

His son and grandson have also lent their efforts to advancement of the skills required for making embroidered logos. They have made sure that the company has stayed in tune with the times. The youngest Moritz has created a new line of offerings called QDT Products. Those products are computer hardware and software for use in the embroidery industry.

By using such QDT Products, embroidered logos can be made much more efficiently. Design changes can be readily added to the available software. That makes it easier to train the employees who will make the embroidered logos.

With computers as part of the logo-making process, it is doubtful that sports logos will soon go out of style. They will probably be an important part of professional sports for quite some time.

A Look at Make-Up Infomercials

Using a variety of female celebrities, infomercial producers have once again created a huge market where none existed. That’s not to say that make up products didn’t exist. They did. And they were a multibillion dollar industry long before anybody ever thought of infomercials.

Starting in the early twentieth century with the advent of movies and their subsequent side affect – beautiful stars! – make up companies have been designing products to make average looking women look better. Or at least think they look better. Make up has been a staple of upscale department stores and high priced boutiques right from the very beginning of the retail business. Even in the early days, make up products had their own departments. Salesgirls were hired who exhibited a youthful, sparkling appearance. They would grab women by the hand, lead them to the sales counter, apply a bit of this, a dab of that and a puff of something else for free and then make the sale. Early products were marketed in the usual manner – for their value in improving your appearance and their price.

The first make up celebrities in the pre-infomercial era were not the stars that women were trying to emulate but the heads of the Hollywood make up departments who made the stars look so glamorous. And so the likes of Max Factor, make up master to countless female celebrities (and men too, by the way) and the most successful line of make up products were born. Later on the celebrities themselves, sensing a huge cash return for the use of their face, put themselves on various lines of make up products available in stores. When their looks faded, when their careers stopped humming along, the make up products disappeared as well.

And then came infomercials. All of a sudden there was a way to get women interested in buying make up products over their TV sets and was it ever successful! Sensing right from the outset that the products had to be celebrity driven, producers came up with a way to market their products to women all over the world via the TV set. Faded and fading stars from the music business, movie business and TV business jumped on the bandwagon to sell make up and other beauty supplies to American women by the truckload. Here’s the hook that they used: the make up infomercial and the products were not completely celebrity driven. The celebrity was merely there to endorse the products supposedly used on her over the years to keep her looking younger and more beautiful. But the product itself was created by, bore the name of and was demonstrated by the make up artist who had labored for years applying make up to countless beautiful celebrities. The make up artist was not a beauty herself but a “regular” woman who merely worked on celebrities. Hence, the housewife watching in Des Moines, or Chicago or anywhere was not made to feel ugly or less than glamorous.

In fact the celebrity was usually somewhat demeaned on make up infomercials as they would often appear on the show without any make up on. You would be channel surfing and a close up shot of a celebrity you know would appear on the screen and you’d stop, you’d notice she didn’t look so good. You’d wonder what happened and you’d start watching the infomercial. And you’d hear her talking endlessly about how her appearance, her look, her beauty was predominately the successful work of the artist and her line of amazing products while the artist was applying make up to her face and transforming her right before your very eyes.

And furthermore, YOU!, Miss American Average Woman, could have these same products that celebrities have been using for years to make movie magic happen, the secret stuff known only to Hollywood insiders, delivered right to your door in a few days for the low, low price of…well you get the idea.  What a concept! Don’t get the beautiful celebrity, with the face of an angel, to sell the product. Have the average looking make up artist sell the product while the beautiful celebrity is transformed from average looking to gorgeous right before your eyes! And of course, the celebrity was an equal or even majority partner in the profits from the line, picking up millions along the way for a days work, sitting in a comfortable chair, in air conditioned splendor, having make up applied to their faces. As the man said – Only in America!

A Look at Brochure Printing Services

A brochure can be a wonderful promotional tool for a wide range of professionals, but getting them set up can be daunting.  There are many brochure-printing services available that cater to both the amateur and professional. You can find them in a number of ways, including the phone book, the Internet, graphic design and advertising journals, or word of mouth.

Some companies will provide typesetting, design, color separations (four-color process), color proofing and proofreading service, while other companies just provide the most basic color printing, folding and shipping.

There are brochure-printing companies that will do everything for you; all you need is a clear idea of your brochure’s requirements and whether it is business, promotional or another application, and the brochure company will take it from start to finish.  Brochure design can be a challenge, so you might consider working with the professional designer that many brochure-printing companies offer. Some companies even offer sales literature development assistance and strategic marketing plans. However if you do your own design, copy writing, typesetting and art placement, and use these services sparingly, you will save money. One thing to keep in mind if you choose to do so is that most basic brochure printing companies will warn you that they will not proof read your work, and that corrections cost extra.

If you simply start at the beginning with a step-by-step review of your needs, many companies will walk you through the features and benefits of their products and services. Because there is so much competition, many services (such as shipping) are offered at a discount or even free. Furthermore, most brochure printing companies will provide their own customer service representative who will work closely with you to make sure your job runs smoothly and efficiently through the entire process, from pre-press to final distribution.

You should investigate thoroughly each brochure printing company and the services they offer to make sure they meet your requirements.  A well-designed brochure can work wonders, and are well worth the effort.

A Guide to using T-Shirts for marketing

Promotional T-shirts have been a part of business promotion and marketing of brands for a long time.  Promotional T Shirts can be given to clients, to prospective customers, and also to your employees to give them the added feeling of belonging to a brand. You do not need be a world famous brand to benefit from promotional T-shirts.  Even new busineses have used T Shirts to create awareness of their product, brand or business.
giving Promotional T Shirts to your employees is a great way for brand endorsement. You can design T Shirts with your company brand and marketing message for your employees and if you are hosting a conference, exibition or promotional event, make it mandatory for your employees to wear promotional T Shirts.  It is a very inexpensive method to make your staff stand out from the crowd and you present an orderly unity among your employees, the same way in which a uniform serves.
Some businessesthink  that it is too expensive to buy a t-shirt online but they are often incorrect. Purchasing t shirts online is a fast and easy process and the choice of online shops is very much better than you expect it to be with some allowing you to undertake the entire design process and payment online.
Corporate branding on T-Shirts can significantly improve the brand awareness of a business in a very short period of time and aside from the obvious marketing advantages branded T-Shirts and other clothing can enhance the perception of customers to your business.  Considering the relatively low cost of purchase and printing T shirts against the length of time a good quality T Shirt can last makes branded T shirts one of the most cost effective methods of marketing for many businesses.

It is widely believed that DTG tshirt printing is more environmentally than screen printing. DTG uses water-based inks to print directly onto clothing, this means that there are no excess inks used in the actual printing and the only waste that occurs is from the occasional print head cleaning – it’s worth noting that head cleaning does not involve any external materials only ink. Then as long as waste ink is disposed of correctly, printing tshirts using the DTG method should have virtually no environmenal impact. Screen printing however has excess inks from parts of the stencil not printed to the tshirt and when screens are cleaned these excess inks are usually washed down the drain.

A Guide to Brochure Printing

Brochure printing can be easy if you first identify your needs and have a clear sense of your budget.  Whether it is for is a real estate listing, a trade show handout, a data sheet, or another application, brochures are a great promotional tool.

Start with a layout that includes the text and images you will need to convey your message. Then choose the type of printing that best suits your brochure. Brochures are typically printed in more than one color.

There are two basic choices in printing: offset printing and laser or digital printing. Both printing processes are capable of producing large quantities of high-quality documents. Most high quality, full-color commercial printing is done on offset presses using the four-color process. Offset printing is a process whereby ink is spread on a metal plate with etched images, is transferred to an intermediary surface, and is then applied to paper by pressing the paper against the intermediary surface.   Although set-up costs can be relatively high, the actual printing is generally inexpensive.

Laser or digital printing uses a laser beam to produce an image; this is also the way copy machines work. Offset printing usually produces clearer, crisper type and higher resolution images than laser or digital printing. However, smaller printing jobs can be done on a small low-volume laser or inkjet printer, or at a copy store, thereby eliminating set-up fees and some shipping costs.

Choosing paper is another very important aspect of brochure printing. Most printers will recommend a heavyweight, coated, or glossy paper to achieve a more vibrant, upscale look.

The folding of your brochure is another key consideration. Basic folding options include: the half fold or single fold, the tri fold (the left and right flaps open), and the “Z” fold (which opens up like an accordion). Almost all printers will give you a greater discount the more you print.

Brochure printing can be easy and fun and allow for a good deal of self-expression, so go ahead, what are you waiting for?   Print that brochure.
